ActiveWins in the Capital for GGA London 2019

After months of nominations, the Global Gaming Awards London 2019 winners have now been announced.

In what has become an unmissable event in the industry, some of the leading names in the gaming world found themselves on the exclusive panel, including our MD Warren Jacobs.

Our intrepid Managing Director was at London’s Hippodrome Casino, presenting the winner of the Casino Product of the Year category to NetEnt with their Jumanji title.

In January of 2018, NetEnt signed an agreement with Sony Pictures Consumer Products to launch a video slot machine game based on the blockbuster film production.

With the 1995 cinema hit being re-worked into a modern favourite, the Swedish firm successfully peddled the success of the Dwayne Johnson film with a fantastic new release.

ActiveWins chief, Mr. Jacobs, was full of praise for the victors. He said: “I was delighted to attend the Global Gaming Awards and it was fantastic to see such talent under one roof. I had the privilege of presenting NetEnt with the Casino Product of the Year award for their Jumanji title. All of the nominees were fully deserving of their place. NetEnt came out on top in a category that saw Mr Green and IGT finish second and third respectively with their Live Beyond Live and CrystalCurve games.

The second GGA London was a roaring success, as you’d expect with some of the leading industry names all under one roof.

With 16 categories up for grabs, the expert panel of judges, including our very own leader, submitted their first and second choice in each category.
