ActiveWins - Putting Faces to Names at AAC

21/08/2018

This year’s Amsterdam Affiliate Conference (AAC) teamed up with the leading gaming industry event EIG, in a streamlined event that allowed the ActiveWins Affiliates team to develop existing relationships with affiliates, and also to create new ones.

The AAC is always a worthwhile experience for affiliates as, despite the conference not being the largest of the three annual iGB events, it always provides the team with a jam-packed schedule full of sessions and activities.

The ActiveWins team was present for all four days of the conference, which ran from 9:00am–6:00pm, before heading out for food and drinks with fellow networkers. The conference was the very first event of the newly-launched iGB Live 2018, held at Hall 8 Amsterdam RAI, which consisted of four conference rooms and over 100 speakers.

Despite AAC being a little quieter than usual, ActiveWins Affiliate Team Leader, Eliot Jacob, stated that the networking nature of the event helped strengthen ActiveWins’s business relationships. “It’s always great to catch up with our existing affiliates and meet some new ones, he explained. “There were new brands to discuss this year, such as the newly-acquired BetBull which created a real buzz and a sense of excitement amongst the affiliates.”

At ActiveWins, we pride ourselves on our motto, ‘good business with a personal touch’ and conferences such as the AAC help us promote this philosophy. Meeting affiliates in-person helps to maintain existing business relationships with clients and our team certainly relishes any opportunity to do so. It’s always beneficial to put a face to a name in the digital world and our affiliate team’s attendance at the AAC went a long way in cementing our current business clients.

Some of the world’s leading affiliates and gaming operators were in attendance, and ActiveWins was proud to promote a few of our most exciting welcome offers from acclaimed casinos such as Bucky Bingo, Kerching and Betfred.

With the event being held during the middle of July, it also allowed the team to reflect on the footballing season with different clients, focusing on previously ran programs and, of course, from the social side, a discussion of England’s heroics.

Affiliate Team Leader, Eliot Jacob, said: “As the World Cup had not long ended, and with the new footballing season on the horizon, the conference provided the perfect opportunity to recap performances and finalise new campaigns for the year ahead.”

We’ll see you at the Lisbon Affiliate Conference, 17th-20th October. In the meantime, why not contact the team to discuss your campaigns?
