Newcastle Affiliate Road Trip

Modern technology enables the ActiveWins team to communicate with affiliates and potential affiliates all over the world. Over the phone, via email, and on Skype, each account manager works hard to create and maintain a series of mutually-beneficial relationships. Dedicated to their affiliates, the team strategically manage their accounts to help each affiliate maximise their commissions.

But there’s no substitute for meeting face-to-face.

That’s why, in addition to attending the official annual affiliate conferences, held in London, Amsterdam and Berlin, the ActiveWins affiliate team regularly embark on road trips.

Last month, Affiliate Team Leader Adam Rowley, and Sportsbook Affiliate Manager Ben Van Cleemput headed north east to the home of Gazza, Greggs and the Angel of the North – Newcastle!

The duo were there to meet Ian, of signupbonuses.co.uk.  

A long-time member of the ActiveWins affiliate program, Ian has been working with Ben since January, but the two had never met.

Ben, said: “Ian has always been a fantastic affiliate for us, so it was great to be able to put a face to the name and meet with him in person.

“It was a great opportunity to understand a little more about Ian, his websites and future plans as an affiliate.”

With 30,000 affiliates currently registered on the ActiveWins affiliate program, this kind of meeting is invaluable to the team.

Adam, explained: "Our road trips give us the chance to catch-up with affiliates in a non-business environment. Our aim is not to push better deals or exposure, it is an opportunity to gain knowledge of how the affiliate works. This way we have a better understanding of what we can offer in help and resources moving forward.

“We encourage any affiliate who we may or may not be part of the ActiveWins program to get in contact with us, as we'd be very interested in meeting up."

Next month sees the return of the Amsterdam Affiliate Conference to the Amsterdam RAI.
