Sedgefield Road Trip for Affiliates
26/04/2019
There really is nothing better than being able to meet up with our clients face to face. Yes, we chat via email, telephone and Skype, but it’s great to be able to develop our relationships beyond the screen.
Plus, who could say no to a road trip?
Over the past twelve months, our team have been to affiliate conferences around Europe, meeting up with faces old and new. But this time, we had a VIP invitation of our own.
Our Head of Affiliates Eliot Jacob and Affiliate Manager Bryn May recently headed 120 miles up north to Sedgefield Racecourse on Friday 5th April for a Grand National moment of their own.
James Lawton from The Betting Edge invited our duo as special guests to present the prize to the winner of the final race of the day, which was named the ‘Best Free Bets At thebettingedge.co.uk Handicap Hurdle'.
We love being able to get out and spend time with clients, catching up on both work and play. It was an honour to be able to present the prize on behalf of ActiveWins.
The winning horse was Point N Shoot. His trainer is Nigel Hawke, who used to train the mighty Tiger Roll before he moved to Gordon Elliot’s yard. It’s no surprise that Point N Shoot aced the race by 15 lengths then, following in the path of a modern-day sporting legend.
Big thanks to James from thebettingedge.co.uk for inviting our team up to Sedgefield.
On the subject of horse racing, we are over the moon to share that the Grand National was a huge success for ActiveWins. Betfred and totesport did very well across all of the recent big meetings, and in turn, passed on the benefits to many of our affiliates over the Aintree weekend and at Cheltenham the few weeks prior.
Our ActiveWins Affiliate Program continues to grow, and we are thrilled to be able to meet more and more of the affiliates in person.
Whether you want to chat to us about your favourite racehorse, how brilliant Tiger Roll is, or of course, our Affiliate program, then you can catch us at the Amsterdam Affiliate Conference in the RAI from the 16th to the 19th July 2019. Just contact your affiliate account manager to book your spot.
